The time to catch Opacapaca is in the early morning before the sun rises. At that time, the fish are sleeping in the reef. While they’re asleep, they lie close together in large groups, but when the sun gets hot, they split up and move about for the day. When the evening draws in, the Opacapaca assemble again back in the reef, to go to sleep.
